With the financial support of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession II (IPA II),  The first week of the trainings provided within the scope of the project titled ” Training on Organizational Capacity Building for Climate Change Adaptation”, executed by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation of Republic of Turkey, was completed. The first week of online trainings, which would last for 4 weeks in total, prepared for the personnel of the Climate Change and Air Management Coordination Board (CCAMCB) member organizations, took place between 5-9 April 2021 with the participation of 240 people.

On the first day of the training Prof. Dr. Gülen GÜLLÜ provided detailed information about the training process of the project and the CCAMCB member organizations were introduced and met each other. Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Murat Türkeş, Prof. Dr. İhsan Çiçek, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Somuncu, Prof. Dr. Didem Evci Kiraz, and Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Tanık presented the training module for the first week, which was developed by the same academic staff. After the intense presentations, on the last day of the 1st  Training module, online activities were held with the interaction participation of the trainees.

The second week of the training, which will continue for the CCAMCB member staff will be held between 26 – 30 April with the presentation of the 2nd Training Module. The training schedule and content are provided at the website www.iklimiduy.org.
