Being financed by the European Union and implemented with TR Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation, the training to be held under the project “Training on Organizational Capacity Building for Climate Change Adaptation” was launched on 5th April, Monday, for the personnel of member institution and organizations of Climate Change and Air Management Coordination Board (CCAMCB). The first module of the training, consisting of 4 weeks in total, was held from 5 to 9 April 2021.
In the morning session, the project team leader Prof. Dr. Gülen GÜLLÜ provided detailed information about the training process. In the afternoon, Prof. Dr. Murat TÜRKEŞ explained the subjects “Introduction to the Basic Climate Change Science and UNFCCC” and “Key Terminologies: Global Warming, Greenhouse Gases and Their Results”. The program continued with Prof. Dr. İhsan ÇİÇEK’s sessions titled “Natural and Anthropogenic Greenhouse Effect” and “Sink Mechanisms and Resistance”.
On the first day of the training, more than 170 attendees from different units of CCAMCB member institutions and organizations came together.
